Darren was just starting out in the kitchen; Paul was already one of the kitchen's go-to chef. Working 50+ hours a week together, they became close friends and started talking about building something of their own. On August
1, 2016, Sublime Creations launched as a catering company. The contracts came in slowly, friends, family, small events, building a client base from scratch without a reputation was tough. In November 2016, they tried something different: a weekly meal plan service. The idea was simple - let people try the food at home, and if they loved it, they'd hire Sublime for catering. But something unexpected happened. The meal plans took off. Clients weren't just trying the food, they were loving it, wanting more and coming back every week. The catering became the side project, and the prepared meals became the business. What set Sublime Creations apart was what was missing in the market. Every other meal prep company in Montréal was focused on macros and nutrition, bland chicken and rice in a container. Paul brought something different: restaurant-quality flavor from a professional chef, with the nutrition and portion control built in. You shouldn't have to choose between eating well and eating something you actually enjoy. Today, Sublime Creations prepares over 1,000 meals every week from a commercial kitchen in Laval. Our chefs cook everything fresh each Saturday from a rotating menu of lunch, supper, and family-sized dishes. Meals are delivered every Sunday across Montréal, Laval, and the South Shore, ready to reheat in 3 minutes. We believe food should make life easier, not more complicated.
