Ecocert Canada Notre organisme a démarré ses activités en 1995 sous le nom de GarantieBio.

Canadian leader in certification, according to standards specific to organic food. Les membres fondateurs, Jean Marc Aubé et France Gravel tous deux issus du milieu de l’agriculture biologique québécoise, possédaient une bonne expertise en matière de certification biologique et avaient à

cœur d’offrir un service de qualité répondant aux besoins du secteur. GarantieBio s'est rapidement démarquée comme programme de certification au Québec par son approche client. Le statut de compagnie, privilégié en 1999, nous permet d'offrir un service sur mesure répondant aux besoins des entreprises d'aujourd'hui. L'association avec Ecocert dès 1997 a mené à un partenariat plus actif en 2000 qui nous donne accès aux marchés locaux et internationaux. La nouvelle entité ainsi créée, Ecocert Canada, se positionne maintenant parmi les leaders en certification biologique et environnementale sur le marché canadien.

Our organization started its activities in 1995 known as GarantieBio. The founding members, Jean-Marc Aubé and France Gravel, both from an organic farming background in Quebec, had great expertise regarding organic certification and truly wanted to offer quality service to satisfy the needs of the sector. GarantieBio rapidly stood out as a certification program in Quebec due to its client approach. The company status, privileged in 1999, allows us to offer customised service that meets the current company’s needs. The association with Ecocert in 1997 has led to a more active partnership in 2000 which gives us access to local and international markets. The new entity now created, Ecocert Canada is now part of the leaders in organic and environmental certification in the Canadian market.

Une approbation d'intrants utilisables en agriculture biologique.
Une certification de fertilisants utilisables en agriculture biologique selon le règlement UE.
Une certification de cosmétiques ou de détergents biologiques selon les référentiels d’Ecocert.
Une certification Bio-Équitable selon le référentiel ESR d'Ecocert
Une certification pour textile selon le référentiel GOTS
La mise en place de systèmes de contrôle (GlobalGap, IFS, BRC...)
Une certification pour les systèmes de management environnemental.
Le contrôle d’appellations particulières (marques privées, appellations réservées) ou toute autre prestation de contrôle sous la marque ECOCERT.
