Seven years, countless meals, and more memories than we can count. Tonight we closed the doors on Mark’s Caribbean Kitchen.

We set out to share authentic Caribbean flavours, cooked with love and without compromise. What we received in return was so much more—your support, your laughter, your stories, and a community that became family.

This chapter has ended, but it’s not the end of the story. Another one is already being written, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

Since April 2018, Mark’s Caribbean Kitchen & Seafood has been proud to bring the flavours of the West Indies and the warmth of our family’s culture to downtown Kitchener. After 7 incredible years, the time has come for the owners to retire and for us to say goodbye. 💛💚❤️

But before we close our doors on September 28th, we’re inviting you to join us for one last unforgettable evening!

Important Announcement from Mark's Caribbean Kitchen

After nearly 7 incredible years of serving the Kitchener community with authentic Caribbean cuisine, we want to share with you — our loyal patrons, friends, and extended family — that Marks Caribbean Kitchen will be closing its doors on September 30, 2025.

This decision has not come easily. Over the past few months, we have explored options to keep the restaurant going, including seeking a buyer to continue the vision. Unfortunately, as of the date of this notice, no buyer has come forward.

With Indira Vaughan retiring and the changing landscape in the hospitality industry, we believe this is the right time to bring this chapter to a close.

We are deeply grateful for your unwavering support, your smiles, and the memories we've shared — from weekday lunches to weekend celebrations. You've made Marks Caribbean Kitchen more than a restaurant — you've made it a community.

We invite you to visit us over the next few weeks and help us celebrate our final season together. From our kitchen to your hearts, thank you.
