FOR ONE SATURDAY, YOUR FAVOURITE MUSIC VIDEOS ARE TAKING OVER LA VIDA.

Toronto video DJ Playa is coming to Kingston for a Retro Video Day Party on September 26—and he’s bringing the throwbacks to the big screen.

Think hip-hop and R&B favourites, dance floor anthems, videos you haven’t seen in years, and those songs that have your whole group shouting, “I forgot about this one!” Playa has DJed at concerts featuring artists including Nelly, 112 and Dru Hill. Now he’s bringing that energy to La Vida.

Get your friends together. Pick your outfit. Come for a drink, then stay when your song comes on. This is your chance to have the night out you’ve been talking about—starting at 5 PM.

And yes, it’s a day party. You can call it a night at 9… but your $20 ticket lets you keep dancing at La Vida until 2 AM if you’re having too much fun to leave.

What a fun afternoon at the Intercultural Festival!

La Vida with Alex leading the fun, took the stage—and soon the crowd was dancing and joining in. A huge thank-you to our friends and students who came out to support us and dance with us on stage. You made the afternoon even more spectacular!
