I don’t post very often… (that’s how all these start.)
But I believe in Santa… I believe that Santa lives in all of us- I believe that Santa gives us gifts that surprise and delights someone- keeping the magic of Christmas ALIVE!
Every year, I give people in my life gifts from Santa, and I never reveal it was me. I write with my left hand, so they don’t know it’s me. I hide the gifts under their tree and they are usually the last to be found on Christmas morning with everyone asking if they know who the gift is from.
This year, more than ever, I think we are all feeling stress and anxiety. Bills are more expensive, interest rates are up on the homes we rushed into during the pandemic and the loans we took out to survive, EVERYONE is busier, and the stresses we feel only keep mounting…
This year, I’m revealing my SOS (secret of Santa), because I want to challenge ALL of you to bring surprise and delight to someone this year! All you have to do is make/buy/ find a gift for someone in your life that you think they will appreciate.
Your gift from Santa doesn’t have to be huge, or expensive, it could be something you make yourself(make an ornament, cut an intricate snowflake from computer paper, or invite someone to have an adult sleepover), or maybe Santa asks your family to spend a night together watching a movie or playing a board game…
This year more than ever… I think we all need some holiday cheer. So take it upon yourself to be Good Ol’ Saint Nick.
