heard a ruckus of crows around 3-4 yesterday afternoon, didnt think much of it except a crow was acting funny on the ground and of course I think "great damn bird flu probably" then he flew up and into a tree and was having a freak out.his buddies all joined in, so i watched.then bam! a fox makes a movement and runs down a trail. Then an hour later i see the crows again.doin the same thing.Bam Fox slinking its way along the tree line and one of my dam rooster decides to crow and it clearly stopped the fox in his tracks and he now just seen the coop and pen.At this point im already watching him slip into the brushline.I decide to creep around the barn and there it is plain as day, it jumped right out of its skin almost with me 30 feet away running at it and bear growling like a wildman as I tear through the lilacs like a kid from lord of the flies hair flying and unarmed....
pay attention to the world around you, sometimes mother nature is ur best alarm system, use it to your advantage.I rememberd that last year the crows did the exact same thing when we had a fox around then too.thanks Crows whoever you are.
