We show live games in the following leagues; EPL, Champions League, NFL, NHL, MLB and All World Championships. The Toucan has been a main stay in the live music scene in Kingston since the early nineties, hosting many Canadian legends over the years. Today, we have DJ’s on Sunday nights and hope live music will be able to resume soon.

Danceland is a Toronto-based psychedelic Americana and neo-jam band. Originally performing as the Cherry Garcia Band, they shifted to original music during the pandemic. Fronted by singer-songwriter Joe Ferland and his wife Jale, the group blends storyteller songcraft, sunny harmonies, and stratospheric guitar work with Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band covers.

Tomorrow, Sunday, June 7th at 3:00 PM, we’ll be gathering at The Toucan to celebrate the life of our friend Doug Lawson.

Doug’s family would like to invite everyone who knew him to come by, raise a glass, share a story, and spend some time together remembering a truly special member of our Toucan community.

If you knew Doug, you probably spent some time chatting with him about guitars, amps, music, photography, or whatever else happened to spark his interest that day. He was always up for a conversation and was one of those familiar, friendly faces that helped make The Toucan feel like home for so many people.

Tomorrow is about getting together the way Doug would have wanted: with friends, good stories, plenty of laughter, and a pint in hand.

We hope you’ll join us as we celebrate Doug’s life and the many memories he leaves behind. He will be greatly missed. ❤️
