Apparently, there's a "race" today. I don't really get it, people are just...running? For fun? Between two lighthouses? Clearly, I've never exercised in my life. However, I do understand the importance of a recovery meal (and recovery point). So we're doing breakfast sangers, on a buttermilk biscuit with sausage patty, sweet chili mayo, cheese and egg, with a side of hash browns. Exercise? Never! Recovery meal? Always. $16 available at noon today (Sunday)!

Two of us Tuskers are soaking up some maritime hospitality, so Eliza is running the show at the brewery today! As such we won't be having a Test Kitchen feature today (but we are open regular hours); we will save it to go with tomorrow's lab b**r. See y'all soon!

One of my favourite all time snacks is falafel. Our Test Kitchen feature today feature 4 tasty little herby, spicy falafel in a tortilla with picked onions, pico de gallo, lettuce cucumber, and a lemon-yoghurt-feta sauce. I will be eating this thrice today! 🌯

This is a minced shrimp and Kimchi tostada, topped with radish, sesame, cilantro and scallions (ok I forgot the scallions for the post). It's a little spicy, super fresh and feels like a very appropriate Test Kitchen Feature to take us out of summer. Available to order in person and online RIGHT NOW

I know a few people who are pretty jazzed to see a grilled cheese back on our menu. Cheddar, mozz and caramelized onion, can't go wrong! What do you think folks, is this destined for our regular menu????

This summer FLEW! It is impossible to believe that we're a week into September, kids are almost back to school and that we already have our first summer on Queen Street under our belts. Holy moly!

Our off-season hours will give us some time and space (literally and figuratively) to rest and relax, but also to recharge our creative batteries- which means for YOU, dear customers, more features, more silly social media, and more fun ways to interact.

Here's hoping everyone had a terrific long weekend, and cross all your fingers and toes for a sunny and hot September 🍻 🐘 💕 🍔
