Question of the hour… will we be running the truck again this season?

Truthfully - I’m not entirely sure what’s in store for the truck at the moment! I would absolutely love to continue to run it as well as my shop, however I only have 1 set of equipment (1 espresso machine, grinders, 1 Pos system, 1 of me, etc etc etc) and I essentially have 2 businesses. The (amazing) opportunity to open up a brick & mortar location came much earlier than I ever anticipated and though I managed to run both last summer unfortunately I just can’t swing it again this year.

Last summer I transferred ALL of my equipment back and forth between the shop and the truck for every event I attended and though it worked then, it just isn’t a sustainable long term option.

Yes - I could double everything - the only downfall is that coffee equipment is extremely expensive………. Not to mention the upkeep and maintenance of running the truck as well as manning it at events is also costly! Unfortunately I am not in the position to be able to support this option…. ($30K+)

We poured our heart and souls into building our mobile coffee truck and it hurts my heart and soul to think about the possibility of parting ways with her - however it is something I am slowly considering…..

In saying all that - I just want to acknowledge all your support and enthusiasm towards our baby despite her possible short lived life as a coffee truck around Kimberley! So if you or anyone you know have ideas for the future of the truck please reach out 🥰 (I have listed it on kijiji out of curiosity for interest…. If you’d like the link let me know!)
