What a truly magical evening at our Encore Event.

This night was something special, not just because of the atmosphere, the energy, or the beautiful setting, but because of the incredible community that came together to make it all happen. Our sponsors played such a meaningful role in shaping the experience from start to finish, and their generosity and care were felt in every detail of the night.

Because of their support, we were able to do more than host an unforgettable event, we were able to give back. Together, we raised funds in support of Brigadoon Village, helping create life-changing camp experiences for children and youth living with chronic illness, conditions, or special needs.

We encourage everyone to continue showing that support, when you see our sponsors out in the community, think of this night. Visit them, purchase from them, and thank them for the role they played in making something so meaningful possible. That’s how we keep this spirit going.

Hi Folks,
We are delighted to invite you to a truly special evening, Encore: Honouring What We’ve Grown, taking place on Friday, April 10th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in our beautiful greenhouse at the Nova Scotia Community College, Kingstec Campus.

This magical night will gather 80 guests around an elegant farmhouse table for an unforgettable culinary experience. Hosted by Darren Harvey, the evening celebrates the collaboration between campus, industry, alumni, and community partners who have supported our programs over the past 50 years.
Guests will enjoy lovely appetizers followed by a thoughtfully curated five-course dinner highlighting local businesses and artisans. The event is a true collaboration between our Culinary, Tourism, Baking & Pastry, Horticulture, Carpentry, and Electrical programs, as our greenhouse is transformed into an enchanting space that reflects creativity, partnership, and community spirit.

The next NOSH Chef’s Table experience is happening Thursday, January 29, from 6:30–9:00 pm, and seats are extremely limited.
This exclusive 16-person Chef’s Table dinner features a thoughtfully curated six-course menu, hosted inside the beautiful NSCC Kingstec kitchen. Guests will enjoy an immersive, behind-the-scenes dining experience, led by our talented Culinary Arts and Tourism students as they work together to deliver an unforgettable evening.
A beverage pairing menu will be available the night of the dinner for those who wish to elevate the experience even further.

We’re beaming with pride!

A huge congratulations to Ryan Isnor, graduate of the NSCC Kingstec Business Tourism program, on receiving the Taste of Nova Scotia Service Award, a truly well-deserved recognition. Ryan’s dedication, professionalism, and genuine love for showcasing Nova Scotia hospitality have made him stand out since his days at NSCC.
We’d also like to recognize Benjamin Bridge Winery, one of our outstanding industry partners, for supporting Ryan and providing opportunities that allow his passion for tourism to shine.
The college couldn’t be more proud, or less surprised, to see Ryan celebrated for his incredible service and contribution to our province’s tourism industry.

We might be counting down the minutes until we can go back to **Terroir** at the Old Orchard Inn and can you blame us?

One of our program’s biggest supporters has just opened one of the most stunning dining spaces in the Valley, and we're still smiling.

The food was fabulous.
The service was exceptional.
The beverage menu proudly features only Nova Scotia producers.
And the view might just be the best in the Valley.

A big thank you to the team behind Terrior for creating such an incredible space for both locals and visitors to enjoy. If you haven’t been yet, now’s the time to experience it for yourself.
