Spirit Oak Tea Company, located in downtown Kenora was opened in 2012 (originally known as The Golden Chicken) and re-branded in 2014 to Spirit Oak Tea. Seeing the potential of this quaint tea boutique, Bree & Alex purchased the business in 2019. We will continue to expand and shape Spirit Oak to fit the needs of our customers.

90+ options of tea leaves, blends and tisanes with an ever expanding

collection of raw herbal ingredients. Every tea is hand blended with care and quality ingredients, with a wide variety of 100% organic, all natural blends. The tea is sold by the gram, available in Sample Size, 25g, 50g and 100g pouches filled with your choice of tea. Not too sure about brewing loose leaf tea on your own? Check out our " All About Tea" page or stop by the shop and talk to one of our tea experts who will help find the perfect cup of tea for you. We offer beverages too! Alongside our tea is a variety of luxurious, but functional tea ware and accessories, locally made products and local collaborations. Tea not your go to? We also carry coffee beans, locally roasted in Vermillion Bay (The Middle of Nowhere Roastery aka. The Comfort Table Bakery) and Sioux Lookout (The Hub Roastery). The Middle of Nowhere Roastery's "House Blend" is available as our house coffee by the cup. Tea is the elixir of life, go ahead and brew a cup, your body will thank you.
