Dear Valued Customers and Friends,
It is with a heavy heart that we announce Luby’s will be temporarily closing for a minimum of three months. In our 40 years of serving this wonderful community, this is the first time we’ve had to make such a difficult decision. However, Luby’s has always been built on the foundation of family and community, and after the heartbreaking loss of two cherished team members, Richard and David, along with our family’s ongoing need to focus on urgent personal matters, we simply aren’t able to give our 9th Street location the attention, love, and care it deserves at this time.
We are incredibly grateful for the memories, the friendships, and each and every one of you who have supported us over the years. Your loyalty has helped us achieve our dreams and provide for our families, and for that, we will always be thankful. A special thank you to Gail, who has been with us since day one and through it all, as well as Larry, Lisa, and the rest of our wonderful Luby’s team. You are the heart and soul of what we do.
We hope to reopen in the spring with a reimagined Luby’s and look forward to welcoming you all back when the time is right.
Our last day open will be this Friday, January 31st. Everything in the store will be on sale now through the end of the day Friday, when we will close our doors for a winter’s rest.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of our journey. This is not goodbye—it’s just a pause.
