And just like that… our 2026 season has come to an end.

As we close the window for the winter, there’s really only one thing left to say:
THANK YOU. ❤️

Thank you to every person who stopped by for lunch, tried something new, became a regular, brought a friend, shared our posts, recommended us to someone or simply pulled up to the window to say hello.

But this season became about so much more than food.

When life threw us an unexpected and incredibly difficult curveball, you showed us just how special this community really is. The messages, hugs, words of encouragement, patience, generosity and genuine kindness you have shown us have meant more than we could ever put into words.

You didn’t just support a little local food truck. You supported the people behind it. ❤️
There have been some hard days this season, but there have also been so many reasons to smile — and so many of those reasons were YOU. So from Mama Bun, Papa Bun and the entire SOBO family, thank you for an unforgettable season. Thank you for showing up. Thank you for caring. And most of all, thank you for surrounding us with so much love.

For now, the window is closed, the buns are taking a winter break, and our focus turns to Scott and the road ahead. ❤️

☀️ THE SUN IS SETTING ON OUR 2026 SEASON

It’s hard to believe we’re already saying this, but Sunday, October 4 will be our last regular day of the season.

We had hoped to stay open a little longer, but with Scott’s upcoming appointments, it’s becoming increasingly difficult for us to guarantee that we can be open consistently. We also want to be fair to our customers — we don’t want you making the trip to see us only to find that we’ve had to close unexpectedly. Right now, we need the flexibility to put family and Scott’s appointments first. ❤️

There may be one last bonus day on Monday, October 5 as we clear out our remaining inventory — so keep an eye on the page! If it happens, we’ll let you know what’s available. Until then, we’re not done yet! ☀️

We’d love to see as many of you as possible before we close that little window for the season. Come grab your favourite platter, sandwich, salad or Dirty Soda — and maybe squeeze in one more visit. ❤️

We also want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported SOBO this season. Every visit, order, share, comment, recommendation and kind word has meant more to us than you probably realize.

❤️ A Little SOBO Update ❤️

Suns Out Buns Out will be closed Wednesday and Thursday as we take some time to prepare Scott for his first chemotherapy treatment on Thursday.

This is a big step in the fight ahead, and right now our focus is making sure Scott has everything he needs as he begins treatment.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and especially for all the love and support you’ve been sending our way. It truly means more than we can say. ❤️

☀️ We are open today until 2:00 and we will be back OPEN on Friday and ready to serve you! ☀️
