Forgot to post these from Painted Roots Farm sci fi party! 👽🪐💫

I received the honour of creating some space themed cake pops and chocolate covered oreos for Linden and Zach’s Annual Summer Party.

Another order that was placed before summer vacation! I truly missed taking orders. 🫶🏽

I had the pleasure of making these Oreo-loaded treats for a customer who was visiting Ottawa all the way from Montreal!

She requested EVERYTHING OREO because she's completely obsessed, and I was more than happy to make her Oreo dreams come true. 😍

She placed her order before I closed for my summer break, so of course I had to honour it.

For her order, I made:
🍫 3 Chocolate Oreo Cheesecake Jars.
🍭 6 Oreo-Filled Cake Pops (plus I couldn't resist adding 3 extra!).
🔥 3 SMOREOs.

MY FRIDAY THOUGHTS!💭

“Always do what you're afraid to do.”

This quote has been on my mind lately because it reminds me of one of the biggest leaps I've ever taken.

In 2022, during the uncertainty of COVID, I started Treats N Eats. It still feels surreal because I've dreamed of owning a business involving chocolate since I was a teenager. I could picture it so clearly, but not everyone believed it was something that could actually work.

Then one day in 2022, I had all the supplies sitting in my online cart, but I was too scared to hit "checkout." My fiance (now husband) looked at me and simply encouraged me to go for it. That little push changed everything. ❤️
I've always been someone who worries about the "what ifs." What if I fail? What if no one buys? What if it's not good enough? But what if it works?

As someone who's obsessed with chocolate and who also has severe peanut and tree nut allergies, I wanted to create treats that people like me could enjoy without the worry.

I'm so grateful I took that chance. Starting Treats N Eats taught me that courage isn't about not being afraid; it's about doing it anyway. 💪🏽

Anyone remember the launch of my Biscoff & Marshmallow Cups?

They’re getting a little glow-up and a new name… say hello to Biscoff Fluff Cups! 🤤

I am so ready to come back refreshed with some changes behind the scenes at Treats N Eats. I’ve been taking some time to relax, spend time with my family, rethink things, make improvements and create a process that feels right moving forward.

Also, a little confession… social media is not my strong suit. 😂 I’m definitely slow when it comes to posting and keeping up, but I’m trying! I want my page to feel authentic and personal.

I’m hoping to start taking orders again at the end of August while I finish tweaking a few things behind the scenes. 🫶

This picture came up in my memories today, my very first order from May 2022. 🤍

Looking back, I realize how much I've learned over the last few years. In the beginning, I was always saying yes, taking on everything I could, and doing whatever it took to grow. While I'm proud of the progress I've made, I'm even more grateful for the lessons along the way.

I've learned to set boundaries, make time for myself, and understand that rest is just as important as hard work. Growth doesn't always come from doing more; sometimes it comes from slowing down and appreciating how far you've already come.

I still have things to learn, but today I'm taking a moment to appreciate the journey and the community that helped make it possible. 🤍

support you all shown me along the way. ❤️
