Guitars on Fire

Guitars on Fire is a contemporary Latin and world fusion trio inspired by artists such as Jesse Cook and the Gipsy Kings. Their unique sound blends flamenco-style guitar, Mediterranean influences, Latin rhythms, beloved Latin classics, and select English hits, creating an energetic and elegant live experience that connects with audiences of all ages.

Originally from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the group is led by Fernando González, singer, guitarist, and founder of the project. Now based in Vernon, British Columbia, Fernando has been performing throughout the Okanagan Valley for over nine years, entertaining audiences at wineries, resorts, restaurants, private events, and festivals between Vernon and Kelowna.

Joining Fernando are Perla Alarcón, vocalist and guitarist, and Al Ramírez, one of Puerto Vallarta’s most respected guitarists. Together, they bring exceptional musicianship, vibrant stage presence, and a dynamic performance that combines passionate instrumentals with audience favorites in both Spanish and English.

Now celebrating their fourth season as Guitars on Fire, the trio continues to deliver unforgettable performances that capture the spirit of Latin music while appealing to diverse audiences across Canada.
