Well the highlight was to win the Exhibitor Flock. I had 4 entries so they could go together and were very well matched. All my helpers were gone by this time and some -4H kids helped show the class. Thank you all.
Aged ewe. Lyrica was 3rd out of 5or6
Nala the Dorset was 2nd. Lol. Out of two.
Popcorn and Pepper were 5-6 out of 8 in Market lambs and I think it was the same in Ewe lamb. They behaved quite well for only being halter broke for 7 days. Nala and Lyrica were previously halter broke and sometime completely forgot they had experience. 😂😂That’s sheep for ya. Don’t have many photos but Jermey and Marinda’s kids enjoyed helping show. Future little sheep showers jockeys right there.

All tucked in.

A little bit late, but we’re trying to get ready for the rock Creek fair 19th and 20th. Sheep show on the 19th started halter breaking a little bit behind. Two of them were already halter broke. And blanket training they are handling it pretty good. We have three Canadians going and one Dorset.

Sure love watching the lambs grow and see the changes in such a short period of time. I have two commercial female ewe lambs in the group and they are keeping up and they were triplets. Having that purebred Canadian Arcott sire makes a huge difference. And the Dorsets and Canadians keep up to each other therefore that makes them such a compatible breed to have together. Whether you cross them or just raise them together. They are a great match. If you are looking for replacements purebred registered ewe lambs or ram lambs for increased growth in your meat lambs. Please check us out. Registered Canadian Arcott Rams. Or Ewes and registered Dorset Ewe lambs. No Dorset rams this year available.

They are so food oriented and train easily. Just to lock them up at night I bring a tub of hay in for them. Canadian Arcott Rams. Have breeding rams available.
