Gropp's Country Catering in Kenora is an experienced catering firm that has been in operation since 2003. In these 10 years of operation we have grown and expanded to service all of North Western Ontario as well as Southern Manitoba. Gropp's specializes in banquet style meals, but is incredibly flexible and is able to accommodate family dinners, BBQ's, Pig Roasts, Conference Meals, and Luncheons.
We are equipped to cater meals ranging in size from 5-1500 people. We have a set menu, but suggest that it only be used as a guideline. We are able to suggest menus to fit budgets or to provide quotes for requested meals. It is our primary goal to ensure that your event is successful. In addition to the Catering side of Gropp's Country Catering, we also provide vending services at large festivals and events in the regions that we service. Our typical vending menu includes home made wild rice burgers, home style fries, Poutine, Chicken Fingers and much more. Since 2012 Gropp's has had a permanent food truck on the Kenora Harbourfront operating from June- September. This venture has a distinct menu. Highlights include: Grilled Cheese Supreme, Coconut Chicken Wrap, Pulled Pork and Double Breaded Pickeral. Gropp's Country Catering is fully owned and operated by Chad Gropp. Chad graduated from the Culinary Management program at George Brown College in 1999 and has over 21 years working in food design and preparation.
