Kicking off the long weekend/Kaslo Block Party, we have our friend Davide joining us at the Taqueria 🕺🎵🌶

DJ Davide, formerly known as Selektah Meszenjah, is a Kaslo local and has been known to set some impeccable vibes on the dance floor. Reggae, dancehall, reggaeton, hip-hop & afro beats are some of the spicy hot genres he will be mixing up for us 🔥
We 👏 cant 👏 fricken 👏 WAIT 👏

Raised on amens, Reese basslines and ragga chat in Toronto's vibrant jungle scene, he now calls Nelson his home where he weaves cohesive and diverse sound tapestries coloured by his unique influences and handpicked sounds and styles - generally rooted in reggae / dub / soundsystem culture.

You may have caught a Dubconscious set at Shambhala, Bass Coast, Wicked Woods, Victoria Ska & Reggae Festival, WEMF (Ontario), Dragon Festival (Granada, Spain) or at any one of a number of prestigious nightclubs/venues across western Canada.

A former-kaslo-local who has recently moved to the "big city" of nelson! She has been gracing so many of our favourite DJ booths in the kootenays, as well as throwing her very own festivals!
