A reminder that we have changed the days of the week that the fair is held.
Here's a quick overview of the week:
- Wednesday Sept 23: 4-H & Open Exhibitors arrive with their projects.
- Thursday Sept 24: The first official day of the fair, 4-H & Open classes begin.
- Saturday Sept 26: The last day of 4-H and Open classes. The Banquet and Dance are held Saturday night.
- Sunday Sept 27: The Live Auction is held, starting at 10am.

🐴 The countdown is on! We're excited to welcome everyone to the 55+ BC Games Equestrian Events, September 9-12, 2026, at the North Thompson Fall Fair & Rodeo Grounds in Barriere, BC. Get ready for a fun-filled competition, great camaraderie, and plenty of exciting moments in the ring. We can't wait to see riders, supporters, and volunteers come together for an unforgettable week of equestrian sport! 🎉

Air Quality Information for the 2026 55+ BC Games

The BC Seniors Games Society has an Air Quality Policy in place for Games Week. Air quality will be monitored daily by the Host Society in coordination with BCSGS, and participants will be notified by email if conditions require any adjustments.

AQHI 4-6 (Moderate Risk): Outdoor events will be evaluated and assessed before decisions are made.
AQHI 7+ (High Risk): Outdoor sport events may be postponed, rescheduled, moved indoors where possible, or canceled if necessary.

We encourage all participants to stay informed, check their email regularly during Games Week, and be prepared for any schedule adjustments that may be required to ensure everyone's health and safety. 💙🐴

Our final day of operation at the Yew Street location will be August 31st.

We hit up the Ohana “Yogi Berri” at roots and blues and ordered the chicken pesto crepe they absolutely crushed it !! So good !!!! Check em out when ya got the time 🤙🤙
