Wow

Methodist services began in the Baptist school house on the corner of Hyde Park Road and the 12th Concession around 1837-1838. The Ilderton Methodist Church was built at the location of Littlewood Cemetery on the 12th in 1847. A new building was built in the same location in 1875. That building was moved into the village in 1892. It burned to the ground on November 28, 1910. The current church building was built in the same location in 1911 and opened for worship on May 26, 1912. In 1925, the Ilderton Methodist Church joined the United Church of Canada. Ilderton 150
