We are currently looking to hire a Part- Time Farm Helper to help us on our farm this fall. Jobs include looking after some animals, repairing fencing, cutting grass, brush and trees, putting to bed the gardens and preparing them for next year etc. If you are interested please send us an email:

Summer is coming to a close.

The Family Place will close at 2pm on September 1st .

As well, we will hold a staff function on September 8th to thank our fantastic staff for their hard work this summer. The restaurant will close at 2 pm on that day.

As summer draws to a close we say farewell to some of our summer students. Savanah and Sydney are heading on to university/college and we wish them nothing but the best.

Island, Shannan, Malcolm and Ralph will head to Huntsville High School, but we hope that they will continue to help at Family Place during their school year. That is while they are not studying, building robots, playing sports, participating in music programs and acting in the school play.

Our summer students have been terrific and they help to make Family Place a great spot to visit.

Thanks to our youngest employees. You are greatly appreciated.
