To all of our loyal patrons, regulars, farmers, locals, and hungry people in general:
Your patronage, constructive criticisms, stories, and support helped us learn so much about this little town, bar, and how things were before we arrived to Hendon.
The change in the liquor industry over the past few years pushed our creativity towards food and a new approach to this small-town bar. The response and demand for foods such as our homemade burgers and pizzas was a huge encouragement throughout our time here.
After much deliberation, Sarah and I have decided to close our doors. We, and our two boys, are ready to take on and face new challenges in our lives. Thank you for your understanding and support as we continue onto the next part of our family’s journey.
We also need to give a special thank you to Margaret & Steve of The Wadena Bakery, and Mark of Wadena Meats. These local businesses have been a crucial contribution to our kitchen and menu.
We appreciate you all, whole heartedly, for sharing and creating a sense of community here at The Whiskey Dog Tavern.
