We’re kicking off our new sausage menu with a special lineup from Wednesday through Sunday! Each day, we’ll be putting one of our German favourites in the spotlight — and these specials will all become part of our full menu coming soon.

Here’s what’s on the lineup:
🌭 WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2 — BRATWURST
Starting things off with a true German classic. Juicy, hearty, and unmistakably German, Bratwurst is a Bierhaus staple for a reason.

🥗 THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 — WURSTSALAT
A traditional German favourite that deserves more attention! Wurstsalat brings a completely different side of German sausage culture to the table.

🤍 FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4 — WEISSWURST
Straight from Bavarian tradition. Mild, delicate, and uniquely Bavarian, Weißwurst is a must-try for anyone wanting to experience something different.

🌶️ SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5 — CURRYWURST
A German street-food icon! Sausage meets curry in one of Germany’s most beloved comfort foods. 🇩🇪

🍻 SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 6 — OKTOBERFEST SAUSAGE
We’re ending the week with an Oktoberfest-inspired favourite — because nothing says Prost! quite like a proper German sausage.

This past Thursday, we had the privilege of welcoming another wonderful group of veterans and active Canadian Armed Forces members for our monthly Complimentary Meal. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who joined us. It is always an honour to serve those who have served our country, and seeing familiar faces alongside new ones each month makes this tradition even more meaningful.

As a reminder, our Complimentary Meal for Veterans and Active CAF Members takes place every third Thursday of the month. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Thursday, August 20th!

A lot of people have been asking what exactly a Biergarten is.

The simplest answer? It's not just a patio.

It's a place you stop by on a sunny afternoon or a warm evening for a cold German beer, a Bratwurst, a pretzel, and good company. A place where conversations are shared across long communal tables, where you can simply walk in, find a seat, and enjoy the atmosphere.

That's the feeling we're working hard to bring to Halifax.

The restaurant you know and love isn't going anywhere—it'll still be there for schnitzels, pork hocks, and everything you've come to expect. The Biergarten is simply another way to experience German hospitality.

We're getting closer every day, and we can't wait to welcome you.

The Wurst & Biergarten is taking shape! 🌲🍺

Another step closer to opening! Our cedar trees are now in place, helping define the space and giving our Biergarten the cozy, welcoming atmosphere we've been working toward.

Soon you'll be able to relax under the open sky with a cold German beer, great company, and a menu designed specifically for the Biergarten experience. We can't wait to welcome you!
