We have one part-time position to fill ASAP for a split of BOH and FOH support.
We’re looking for someone with high quality standards, who can follow instructions independently, is adaptable and personable.
This part-time position is anticipated to be 15-20 hours per week, split over 3-4 days, late afternoon-evenings, and weekends.
Compensation will reflect your experience, skill, and contributions. During your 3 month on-boarding & training period you will receive an hourly wage of $18.50, which will be assessed at 3, 6, and 12 months tenure, to reach a minimum hourly wage of $20.50 by 12 months of service.
BOH support will include, at minimum, cutting, plating, packaging, and dish pit. If you have an aptitude for baking and decorating, or savoury prep, we’d love to get you involved in that aspect of our work as well.
FOH support will include, at minimum, welcoming in our customers, taking orders and payments, answering phone inquiries, making coffee, scooping ice cream, keeping the FOH space clean and organized, closing up shop for the day.
This is a physical position that involves long periods of standing, walking, squatting, and bending; you must be able to lift and carry bags of ingredients that weight up to 25kg.
