Less than a week out until our newest workshop launch, the Hamilton Cottage Garden! I started going through my consultations and so many times, folks were interested in a less rigid, more whimsical garden design, but struggled to execute it, which is so fair! Between all of the ecological factors at play, the traditional plants you would see in a cottage garden are often ones that won't grow well in our climate, or grow too well and sit on the invasive list! Beyond the core priniciples of cottage garden design, we will also look at how to use native and nativar plants to create that same whimsical aesthetic AND grow well here, with all the beneficial impacts we love to see!
