Hope you are keeping amazing and life is treating you kind. I wanted to update you all with respect to our Gift Certificates, as the holidays are quickly approaching.

The Team at Squires Pub on Locke will continue to honour our original purchase and sale agreement with respect to their acceptance of all legitimate Mattson & Co. Gift Certificates with NO EXPIRY DATE.

Please see below the requirements for their Team’s acceptance of these Gift Certificates:

Please present any of these Gift Certificates prior to ordering so they may authenticate them with the records they have on file from Mattson & Co.
Only the location at 225 Locke Street South, Hamilton will be accepting these Certificates.
Any of these Gift Certificates that do not match our records we left them, or appear to be altered, copied, or damaged will not be accepted.
They reserve the right to refuse any cards that cannot be authenticated. These cards have no cash value and no change will be given.
They are to be used for Dine-In only.

Hello friends,

On behalf of your extended Mattson family, I wanted to share that Mattson & Co and The Junction Events & Catering are both closed permanently.

This life changing decision was made after a re-evaluation of my journey thus far and recognizing I have so much more to experience in my life path.

First and foremost, I wanted to say many thanks to my landlord for believing in me, my vision and trust with his building.

I am so grateful to my former partners, amazing team members (past and most recent) and of course my partners in business (vendors and suppliers), who have shared this experience with me. I would not have been here without your continuous support, patience and most of all trust.

I am eternally blessed to have met such amazing guests (aka: friends, old & new) who have supported me since my first restaurant on King William Street (The Junction Cafe & Aquarius Lounge) back in 2002.

You have been there for me during my darkest of days and truly have left a print on my heart.

Sooooo many shared memories of joy and belly laughs through your many celebrations, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions.

For me, this passion has always been about building relationships which I am so proud to say, I have accomplished with such grace and elegance with you all.

Thank you …. Thank you …. Thank you Hamiltonians and surrounding friends for accepting me for me and for your never ending display of love and encouragement.

Another family owned business has moved in … our dear friends from Ye Olde Squire and they will leave their own mark on Locke Street. Let us welcome them open arms and for their kind generosity of accepting all outstanding Mattson gift certificates.

Make it even better and start off your evening with a Featherstone Estate Winery Premium Cuvée Joy 2017 Sparkling Rosé today, available in our Wine Lovers Market. Flavoured with bright red currant, ripe strawberry and oodles of tang to the fore.

We also carry a variety of other whites, reds, rosés and sparkling wines all of which are premium local VQA or imports.
