❤️ A heartfelt thank you to our friends at Drongkowski’s Deli in Waterdown!

We are so grateful for the bread you generously donate to Food With Grace. And today, you went above and beyond!

Our volunteers were treated to a wonderful tray of your sandwiches, and they absolutely loved them. 🥪❤️

Thank you for thinking of our volunteers and for your continued generosity and support. Your thoughtful contributions mean so much to all of us at Food With Grace!

🦃💗 We’re still collecting for our Thanksgiving Food Drive! 💗🦃

If you’re out and about doing your grocery shopping and can pick up an extra item or two, it would be truly appreciated! Every donation helps us put together a Thanksgiving meal for families in our community who could use a little extra support this holiday season. ❤️

We’re currently looking for:

🍗 Turkey or chicken
🥣 Gravy
🍑 Canned or packaged fruit
🍲 Broth — boxed, canned or bouillon cubes
🥨 Crackers
🍪 Cookies
✨ Tin foil
🥡 Plastic wrap
❄️ Freezer bags

Even one item makes a difference. If you can add something to your cart, thank you for helping us make Thanksgiving a little brighter for someone in our community! 🧡

Thank you for always showing up for Food With Grace! 🙏💗

We put out a call on our Food With Grace page because we are in need of food items — and our very own Fortinos owner, Miklos Kanalas, came through for us once again! ❤️

This is what community is all about. We ask, and people step up. 🙏

Miklos, you have been such a pillar in our community, and we truly can’t thank you enough for always being there when Food With Grace needs a helping hand. Your generosity means more than you know and helps us continue supporting the families in our community. 💗

And to everyone who sees our requests on this page — please know that every donation, every share, and every time you answer the call makes a difference.

This is how we do it — together. ❤️

Hunger affects every community in Ontario.
Hunger affects every community in Ontario, including Waterdown. Across the province, more people are turning to food banks than ever before. As incomes continue to fall further behind the cost of living, families that once needed temporary help now need to rely on food banks every single month to make ends meet.
Hunger is not an isolated issue, it exists in every corner of Ontario, affecting families, neighbourhoods, and communities of every size.

We are so grateful for our incredible volunteers! ❤️

Their resiliency, generosity, and willingness to step up and do whatever it takes to help never ceases to amaze us. We truly have some wonderful people here at Food With Grace who care deeply—not only about our community, but about each other. ❤️

A special thank you to Tracy and her amazing group for putting together the backpacks for our students. 🎒 We had so many very happy children who are now ready to head back to school with a little extra confidence and a lot of love behind them!

Thank you to every volunteer who continues to show up, pitch in, and make a difference. You are what makes Food With Grace so special. ❤️

Wishing all of our families, volunteers, and supporters a very Happy September and a wonderful back-to-school season! 🍎📚🎒
