A huge thank you to Ben Brush Design for capturing the spirit of Steve-O-Reno’s so well. The design brings together rays of positivity, a wave in honour of our founder Steve, and the addition of hands as a human element, representing the people who make this place what it is. Our community has always been at the heart of Steve-O-Reno’s and we wanted that reflected in our brand.

This is officially our last week on Brunswick Street, with our last day of service being this Saturday, May 30th.

For almost 30 years, Steve-O-Reno's has been exactly what it started as: a small, independent, family-run cafe built on coffee, community, connection, and many, many shared moments.

We’re incredibly grateful to the Halifax community and beyond, and to every team member past and present, for the loyalty, support, investment, and love you’ve shown us over the years. It’s because of you that this next chapter is possible.

Soon, we’ll be opening just around the corner on Doyle Street in the former Zwicker’s Art Gallery. While it’s bittersweet to say goodbye to Brunswick Street, we’re bringing the warmth and spirit of this place with us.

We don’t take it lightly that a small business like ours is able to continue and grow after all these years. Thank you for being part of our story.

Before we go, we’d love for you to come pull up a chair and fill up your cup one last time in our cherished Brunswick Street home. ❤️
