what an exciting day (hence the yelling in the video)!! Lauren Watt and I had just come up from a dive and were debriefing by the car when I looked over and saw a massive fin in the water, really close to the shore and wharf. we ran over excitedly and noted the dorsal and caudal fin of a basking shark! After waiting another 15 min, we got one more glimpse of it, which is when I captured this video! Amazing biodiversity, basking sharks are so cool. Last year I saw one in NL and this year in NS - so stoked to have these friendly giants in our backyard🦈
