Hey hockey families- we are open for the season!
This year we will have a good donation box in the canteen. All food collected will be in support of the Fairview Food Pantry Project. Fell free to drop off a non- perishable food item in the bin when you come to get your rink fries - every donation will help someone in need of a helping hand 😊

The annual hockey gear exchange will be happening September 8th from 11-4PM. I’ll be at the exchange and hope to see you all there.

Canteen will be opening in October again to serve up some Rink fries and feel good food for the hockey season. See you soon.😊

Here’s to the end of another fantastic season of hockey!
SEDMA weekend was a great success, with teams coming as far away as Ireland! As always, the Hawks left everything on the ice to give us some nail biting hockey moments 🤩

To all the players, families, the Centennail Arena, Halifax Hawks Association, Halifax West hockey and Can Skate, I want to thank you sincerely for supporting the canteen.
It was a pleasure to see the smiling faces each day and to be part of the greater “hockey family” and each of you truly made the canteen a fun and welcoming place for everyone!

Although the season just wound up, I am already counting the days till the next season opener!

See you all again soon!
