We now have parking for Friday evening (after 5pm), Saturday, and Sunday.

Our very kind neighbors at Cambridge Financial Services are helping out the business community here in Fairview with a parking share.

Some limitations apply, check our profile, stories or website before heading out.

If there is no announcement claiming otherwise, then you are ok to park on the days/times noted above.

Fish and chips are ready for you.

The most popular dish we have for a reason.

5oz haddock coated in our light and crispy batter.
Deep fried with a side of hand cut and twice cooked russet potatoes.
Also comes with our house made tartar sauce and a tangy, lightly dressed coleslaw.

I would love to have more opportunities to post fun things that we are doing at the diner.

Unfortunately, that’s not what this post is about and I don’t have any movement on the fun projects I’ve been trying to launch.

That is because 90% of my time has become solving problems I didn’t create, with resources I do not have, as a result of people who couldn’t be bothered to get their own $hit together.

So the latest on the list (and this is only 1 of 4 I have to deal with today) is this garbage.

I now have to buy paint and find time to cover this nonsense. All because our little “Picasso” can’t figure out how to use a pen and paper to express themselves.

Seriously? Grow up. I have enough problems without people giving me new ones.

Had you come in and asked to make a graffiti styled mural I would have considered it, and heck, even paid you for it.

We now have some weekend parking!

Short Version:
- Friday AFTER 5pm
- Saturday 10am - 8pm
- Sunday 10am - 4pm
- Cambridge Financial Services Parking lot (see photo)
- Do NOT park in the lower lot (different owners)
- Blackout dates may apply: check our website or social media to be sure (if there is no announcement on the main page you are good).

Long story:
There are many lessons that entrepreneurship has taught me. One of the most meaningful is that small businesses will take care of fellow small businesses.

It has always been a struggle to survive on street parking alone. We have received lots of feedback to that effect. It’s understandable, but largely out of our control.

Then, after a year of construction woes and the loss of some spots, it became evident we needed to do something.

We reached out to our neighbors at Cambridge Financial and they are graciously sharing their parking lot with us (which they also do for other businesses in the neighborhood as well).

Rather than charge us a fee, we have come to a catering related barter system. It is truly the best of both worlds for both of our businesses

If you are coming to visit us, check here or our website to be sure on the parking front. Since we are sharing, some special events will get priority.

We feel so lucky to be a part of our small business community here in Fairview.

Well folks we are looooong overdue for some serious down time.

So in the interest of resting the old bones and seeing some loved ones, we will be closing the restaurant for a week (August 3-11).

🍁 Maple wood house smoked, dry rubbed ribs drenched in our very own BBQ sauce.

🍟 Hand cut twice cooked fries.

🥬 House made coleslaw with local cabbage and carrots.

Side substitutions available for the normal upgrade prices:
- Mashed potatoes OR Hash-browns with grilled onions $2
- Garden Salad $4
