Most days, building a dream doesn’t look extraordinary.

It looks like real ingredients, local farmers, brigadeiros rolled by hand and earning trust one customer at a time.

For three years, Made With Love has been my way of starting over as an immigrant, a mother and an entrepreneur.

Then, in the middle of an ordinary day, an email arrived:

“Congratulations! You are officially a finalist.”

I read it twice.

I’m one of just 26 women entrepreneurs from across Canada selected as finalists for the 2026 RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards.

Suddenly, every small step felt seen.

Thank you, Women of Influence+, RBC, Halifax and everyone who believed in this dream. I’m honoured to share this moment with 25 remarkable women.

We still have so much to build.

The journey deserves to be celebrated, not just the destination.

This small dream has already carried me farther than I ever dared to imagine.

For Mother’s Day, I came back to my roots. Not just in flavor, but in feeling! 💌

This pie is something you’ve already seen… but here’s how it comes to life, step by step 💛

It starts with the crust 🤌🏼 cassava and Brazil nuts.
Ingredients that ground me, that remind me where I come from. Toasty, nutty, deeply Brazilian.

Then the filling ⭐️ maracujá.
Bright, tangy, full of life. The kind of flavor that lingers, that holds memory.

And to finish, a soft lime meringue. 🍋
Lightly torched, bringing warmth, sweetness… balance.
Everything is made by hand, with carefully chosen ingredients.

Gluten-friendly, and made with intention in every step.

This pie is a quiet tribute.
