Welcome to La Parisienne Crêperie, a little piece of Paris in Bronte Harbour. How it started… Established in 1991 by Marie France & Pierre Colas, new immigrants to Canada with their son Mikael. A Sunday drive brought them to beautiful Bronte and Voila! About us… Now owned and operated by Mikael and his wife Courtney who took over and breathed new life into La Parisienne in December 2014. A complet

e revamp on the inside of the restaurant as well as the menu has now created a cozy French Bistro style atmosphere right here in Bronte. Mikael grew up living and working at La Parisienne and after moving to Toronto for a few years he decided to travel and found himself working in Australia. There he met his wife Courtney whose career in hospitality has had her work every aspect of the restaurant industry. After travelling around the world together experiencing many different cuisines and cultures they decided to return to Canada to pursue their dream of owning their own restaurant where they could share their love of delicious food and beautiful wines. Our focus… providing you with Traditional French crepes (froment) made on sight using fresh, local ingredients wherever possible and supporting our local farmers and wine makers. Brunch, Lunch and Dinner...simple or decadent...there’s a crepe for everyone and we promise you will love it! Step into our restaurant, our home, relax and let us transport you to a little piece of Paris.

To all our La Parisienne lovers… we haven’t forgotten you.

What started in Oakville didn’t end, it evolved. And for so many of you, those Mother’s Day brunch traditions, those crêpes, those moments… they meant something.

This Mother’s Day weekend, we’re inviting you to continue that tradition with us at Réunion.

Saturday or Sunday, we’re serving a special prix fixe brunch that carries that same spirit, comforting, thoughtful, and made with care. Different space, evolved flavours, but the same intention: creating a moment worth slowing down for.

If you’ve been missing those La Parisienne mornings, this is your sign.

Bring Mom. Bring the family. Bring the memories — and let’s make a few new ones.

Saturday May 9th & Sunday May 10th
10am to 4pm

Reservations are filling quickly.

We’re feeling this one

A huge thank you to The Hamilton Spectator and Erin Dunham for the incredible feature—being named one of the best bites on Barton Street is something we don’t take lightly.

Our Crêpe Suzette got a little spotlight… described as “beautifully classic… with a twist” and “incredible. Truly.”
Not bad for a humble little crêpe.

Barton Street has officially entered its main character era—and we’re proud to be part of it.

If you haven’t experienced Verlan yet… this is your sign.
Come curious. Leave obsessed.

We loved La Parisienne too.
So much, we didn’t stop there.

Same heart.
Same obsession with good food.
Just a little more room to play.

If you know, you know.

Today, an era quietly slipped away.
At 91, Brigitte Bardot has left us and with her, a certain idea of freedom, beauty, rebellion, and unapologetic femininity.

She was more than cinema.
More than an icon.
She was a mood, a gaze, a walk through the world that said I belong to myself.

From black-and-white streets to sun-drenched dreams, she carried France and inspired the world without ever asking for permission. Effortless. Untamed. Eternal.

At Crêperie Verlan and Réunion Bistro, we believe in places that tell stories, that mix cultures, memories, and generations. Today, we raise a quiet glass to a woman who did exactly that, lived loudly, loved fiercely, and left a mark that time can’t erase.

Rest softly, Brigitte.
Legends don’t disappear, they linger.
In glances. In songs. In rooms like ours.

Missing the crepes from La Parisienne Crêperie?

Good news: the legacy lives on (and then some) at Verlan in Hamilton and Réunion Bistro in Morriston.

Same passion. Same buttery edges. Same French vibes.
Now with even more attitude, better lighting, and yes—runny yolks and crispy shallots too.

Come get your crêpe fix. We’re still flipping ‘em… just fancier now.
