Today is the end of one chapter and the beginning of another- we are so excited for what the future holds as Heather heads into ministry with her husband- and yet we will dearly miss the place we have known as a second home for well over a decade.
We cherish the times we spent fellowshipping with our customers at our tables, praying with and for many of you. Late nights sitting at each table praying for the customers who would be visiting the next day. Keeping watch over elderly customers and celebrating lives well lived with their families. Memorizing the quirks of everyone’s orders- no onions on the burger, side order of onion rings please! Side of mayo for our Dutch friends :) 12 kernels of chicken feed - you know who you are! More noodles for you and less for you! We will miss the updates on your families, and the spirited debates around our tables in the afternoons. But most of all- we will miss YOU. Thank you for your kindness over the years. Kathy & I and our extended family have weathered many tough seasons since the Patio opened. We are so proud that we are finishing well. The constant support of our community and the love you have shown us will not be forgotten! We have full confidence, that if the restaurant is purchased and reopens that you all will continue to show the same love to the next owners.
Numbers 6:24-26
The Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you, the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.
And watch this space- we will be updating in the coming months to let you know promotions at our canteens and say hi when we miss you! ;) and of course to let you know if the restaurant sells and where you can find them online!
