Pasta e Vino

Pasta e Vino Pasta e Vino occupies a turn-of-the-century house with 13 tables. The atmosphere is comfortable and so is the cooking. Sometimes they add mussels as well.

They buy the pasta down the street, but they do make their own lasanga, gnocchi and canneloni and the sauces are prepared from scratch. The kitchen is at its best with seafood linguine, which is loaded with clams, shrimp, scallops, squid, onions and garlic. The penne with proschiutto and mushrooms comes with a light gorgonzola sauce. Afterwards there are cakes, cheesecakes and a good tiramisù, but our favourite sweet is still the granita di caffee topped with whipped cream. We also have an excellent selection of wines.
