Gus' Restaurant was founded in 1952 by Konstantinos (Gus) Lagges, a Greek immigrant from the village of Katavordhna in southern Greece and his nephews George and Peter Moutsatsos and Nick Lagges. Gus settles in Sudbury in the early fifties after a 35 year odyssey that had taken him across Canada and the United States. During this epic journey, Gus acquired many of the special recipes we continue t

o use and that have tended to the culinary needs of four generations of Sudburians.Good morning. Today, the restaurant is proudly owned and operated by Fania and Spyros Koutroumanos. At Gus' we take pride in the traditions that Gus instilled in all of us. Our aim is to provide great food at a reasonable price, coupled with friendly service and family atmosphere.
