What a beautiful evening!
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Rosé Flights & Bites on the Patio. We were so fortunate to have the perfect weather to enjoy one more evening outdoors together—and even more fortunate to share it with such wonderful guests.
A special thank you to Heather from STEM W**e Group for her engaging and informative presentation. We hope you left having learned something new about rosé and, perhaps, with a little more of Heather’s passion for these versatile and delicious w**es!

Back to school = back to busy. 🍎📚

When the days get hectic, having a few good things in the freezer and pantry can make all the difference.
Our Aniko Pasta Artigianale handmade pasta, along with our Tomato Basil and Arrabbiata sauces, make it easy to get a delicious Italian-inspired meal on the table in no time. And don’t just think pasta, because our sauces are perfect for homemade pizza, soups, chilli and more.

Two of our features this week: a pasta inspired by our family's time by the Adriatic Sea and an entree that evokes memories of our beloved Nonnas.

Carbonara di Mare - Aniko-made strangozzi, sautéed calamari + pacific white shrimp, local duck eggs, fresh cracked pepper and crispy guanciale.

Filetto di Maiale - pan roasted prosciutto wrapped Ontario pork tenderloin, fingerling potatoes, local matsutake mushrooms, sautéed rainbow swiss char and salsa verde.

Hello, Ontario fruit!
Beautiful Niagara peaches are the star of this appetizer.
We roasted them in our wood-burning oven with honey and then placed them atop creamy burrata mousse and our house-made focaccia, drizzled with balsamic reduction and garnished with crumbled pistachio, basil and edible pansy flowers.

There are places that remind you why you started.

This summer, our family had the privilege of returning to Italy...not only to enjoy time together, but to learn, to listen, to eat, to explore and to reconnect with the roots of the food and traditions that have shaped us.

As restaurant owners, it’s easy to get caught up in the everyday rhythm of running a restaurant. Being back in Italy gave us the chance to slow down, be curious again and remember that hospitality is about so much more than what ends up on the plate.

We came home inspired, grateful and humbled by the people, places and traditions that continue to teach us.

We’re looking forward to bringing a little of that inspiration back to Verdicchio.

Grazie, Italia. ❤️
