Ten of Swords • The Devil • Ace of Batons
Something has run its course.
The Ten of Swords is that moment when we have to admit that a story is finished. Maybe it was a relationship, a plan, an old version of ourselves, or simply a way of thinking that we have carried for far too long.
And sometimes the funny thing about endings is that the thing can be completely over… and we are still carrying it around.
Which brings us to the Devil.
The Devil always makes me wonder where we've accidentally handed our power away.
What are you still tied to simply because you've been tied to it for a long time?
An old fear?
A habit?
Someone else's opinion of you?
A story about who you are that hasn't actually been true for quite some time?
Because sitting right beside all of that is this gorgeous Ace of Batons.
A little spark.
Something new that makes you curious. Something that wakes you up a bit. That tiny ohhhh…what if?
And I think that's the everyday magic in these cards this morning.
We don't always need some enormous reinvention.
Sometimes we just need to notice that something is over, loosen our grip on whatever kept us attached to it, and give our attention to the little spark trying to grow beside it.
So maybe this morning, over your first cup of coffee or tea, ask yourself:
What am I still giving my power to that has already run its course?
And then…
What is quietly asking me to begin?
Follow that little bit of fire. 🔥
