Huge Thank You to Everyone!!
Some acts of kindness come from a place very close to the heart. ❤️
Today, we had a very special visit from Lynette Evans, owner/operator of Wing'n It Restaurants Grand Falls-Windsor. She stopped by to give back to Lionel Kelland Hospice in memory of her Dad, Winston, who was a resident in our care.
Wing’n It recently hosted a Labour Day prize draw in support of our mission. For Lynette, the fundraiser was a way to honour Winston and the time he spent at the Hospice, but it was also a way to say thank you.
Lynette shared that the care her Dad received was second to none. She will forever be grateful that she and her family were able to experience such compassion, dignity and kindness during one of life’s most tender times.
There are moments in life when words simply don’t seem like enough. Sometimes, giving back becomes a way of expressing the gratitude we carry with us.
We are so touched that Lynette chose to honour her Dad in this way. 🙏
