Thê, We wanted to take a moment to tell you how incredibly proud we are of you. Seeing the official announcement that you have signed with the Meaford Knights to play Junior A hockey is a milestone we will never forget.
It feels like just yesterday, exactly six years ago, when you stepped onto the ice for the very first time wearing the Mustangs jersey in Maniwaki. You were just a kid starting out, but even back then, the passion and determination in your eyes were clear.
You may be a country boy from Gracefield, Quebec, but your talent, grit, and vision on the ice belong under the biggest spotlights. From those early days in the Outaouais region to training tirelessly at the NCHA Academy, you have never forgotten where you came from. That small-town work ethic is exactly what sets you apart.
Making a Junior A roster is a massive achievement for any hockey player, but earning your spot at only 15 years old is truly extraordinary. The coaching staff at the Prospects Camp saw what we have always known: you have the drive, the elite skill, and the heart to thrive at this level. You are stepping into a fast, physical league to play against older, stronger athletes, but you have the spirit of a true competitor. You earned every square inch of that Knights jersey. As you pack your bags, head out to Ontario, and get ready to wear the team colours, keep these pillars close to your heart:
Remember your roots: Carry the spirit of that 9-year-old Maniwaki Mustang with you. That tireless, small-town country work ethic is your greatest asset.
Trust your game: You didn't get here by accident. You belong on this ice, so play with the confidence of someone who earned their spot.Embrace the adventure: Living away from home and playing Junior A at 15 is a massive step.
Learn from your coaches, bond with your teammates, and enjoy every second.
Whether you are hitting the ice for your first shift or battling through the toughest games of the winter, remember that your family back home in Quebec is always cheering you on. We cannot wait to stand in the arena, see you wearing those Knights colours, and watch you dominate.Go get 'em, Thê! Make Gracefield and Maniwaki proud!❤️
We are so very proud of you. We love you more than words can say. With all our love, pride, and endless support,Mama and Papa🥰🏒❤️
The Meaford Knights are excited to announce the signing of Thê Trinh from NCHA Academy for the 2026-27 season.
Thê impressed our coaching staff during our April Prospects Camp with his work ethic, compete level, and character, earning the opportunity to join the Knights.
We’re excited to welcome Thê and his family to Meaford and look forward to seeing him in Knights colours this season.
