We love collaborating with our neighbouring businesses to serve you food and drinks that incorporate ingredients from our local region. 💖💪 Our beer and desserts come from across the street, at Split Rail Brewing and Finnia Chocolate, while our fish comes from Purvis Fisheries and lettuce from Odawa Freshwater Gardens. ✨

We invite you down to the patio for a meal and some relaxing harbour view ambiance. We're open Wednesday through Sunday from 12-8 and we're located in Gore Bay at 1 Purvis Drive.

We are always surprised when folks say they didn't know anyone offered gluten and dairy free options on the island! 🌱 We aim to welcome everybody, no matter their needs. 😁 We offer gluten free alternative bread 🍞 options for our sandwiches, we have gluten free crusts for our pizzas🍕 and wheat free pasta dishes🍝. Our Lake Trout 🎣 dinners, salads and appetizers are are also gluten free! We also have vegan cheese 🧀 for those who still want to enjoy cheesy goodness without the lactose or dairy! We take pride in serving food that is made with love 💖 and we are happy to say that we do not deep fry any of our meals, everything is prepared on stove top or in the oven. ✨ We also collaborate with neighbouring businesses to offer local beverages, desserts and ingredients. If it doesn't meet our standard of what we would enjoy ourselves, we wouldn't serve it!

Additionally, we aim to welcome everyone including those with gluten and dairy allergies and sensitivities. We have GF options for our pizzas🍕, pastas🍝, sandwiches 🥪 and many other appetizers🥗 and entrees 🍽️ are gluten free!

Happy long weekend and Civic Holiday everyone! For some, this is a time to celebrate being a Haweater! ✨ What does that mean? Well, it's a colloquial term for those born on Manitoulin Island, however, it was also used to specifically describe early settlers who were fortunate enough to have Indigenous Peoples share their knowledge of the land with them. It turns out that vitamin C is vital to preventing scurvy and the hawthorn shrub/tree happens to produce hawberries rich in vitamin C! Long story short, they became known as Haweaters for consuming the berries. Without this generous gift of information, many of us would not be here today, so thank you and miigwech! 🙏💖

For those of you that missed our post about the Bonnyville... We often get asked why one of our signature pizzas is called the Bonnyville. Here's why! 😉 Since the start of Buoys, the owner of this beautiful tug always ordered a pie with double cheese, double pepperoni, tomatoes, green olives and bacon.. and thusly it became known as the Bonnyville! Over the years it's become a a popular classic on our menu, so thank you Randy! 🍕

There's still time to grab our feature pizza, the Sweet Summer Heat! 🌞🔥🍕 Do you like it spicy? 🌶️ We sure do! This tantalizing pie has a salsa base topped with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, jalapenos, hot banana peppers, bacon, pineapple and a sweet chili drizzle. 🤤 Try it thin, regular or stuffed crust style! Three days packed with all kinds of events including games for kids and face painting, live music and beer garden, a theatre production, free outdoor movie at the splash pad, pancake breakfast, exotic animal show, ice cream eating contest, classic auto show, cardboard boat race, 5k fun run and so much more! 🥳🤘
