Wasn't that a party! We hope you all enjoyed the festivities during Gimli's The Icelandic Festival of Manitoba "Islendingadagurinn" this weekend. Thank you one and all for keeping us on our toes.

AUGUST LONG WEEKEND IS HERE!

Mouthwatering pickerel platters, Fat Boys, fries, dogs, souvlaki, gyros and garden fresh salads, plus shakes, sundaes and splits. Join us for dine in, patio or take-out.

It was a pleasure to recognize Gimli Beach Boy Restaurant on the occasion of its 25th Anniversary.

For 25 years, this outstanding multigenerational family business has been serving delicious meals, friendly service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere to both residents and visitors in Gimli.

Beach Boy Restaurant first opened its doors in 2001, when Lucy and Savas transformed a building that had previously served as an English pub and before that, Gimli’s town hall into what has become one of the community’s favourite dining destinations. Today, following the retirement of his parents, their son Peter Makiaris, together with Lucia Makiaris, proudly carries on the family’s tradition of exceptional hospitality and great food.
