🍂🎶October is upon us, bringing crisp afternoons that make for the perfect cozy weekend. So come on down to Gibsons Public Market to cozy up with a drink and have a listen to some of the phenomenal live local musicians we feature this month.

We have live music in our lovely atrium three Saturdays this October, perfectly matched with the legendary Happy Hour at Emelle's Market Bistro.

October Live Music Lineup:

-October 3: No SLM due to a private event
-October 10: Jim Taylor
-October 17: Pulling Strings
-October 24: No SLM due to Sunshine Coast Art Crawl
-October 31: Sniffer Dogs (doing a special Halloween set) 🎃

Live Music runs from 2:30-4:30 PM.

The Winter Festival & Market makes its seasonal return to Gibsons Public Market, taking place on Saturday, December 5, and Sunday, December 6. We’re looking for talented seasonal makers, bakers, and creators to join us for a wonderful winter weekend filled with holiday cheer. Vendor applications are open until September 30, and space is limited!

We’re excited to announce that Neighbourhood Nights are back at Gibsons Public Market! Join us for an evening of live music, a family-friendly movie, popcorn, and plenty of community fun.

We’re kicking off the return of Neighbourhood Nights with Dally Mon on October 9th, bringing an original fusion of West Coast Hip Hop and reggae-inspired grooves to the Market. With intricate lyricism, heartfelt songwriting, and a high-energy live performance, Dally Mon brings positive vibes and an uplifting sound that is sure to get the crowd moving. We then have the incomparable Half Cut & The Slackers on November 13th, and a high energy set from Mad Cow on December 4th.

Bring the whole family and settle in for a free family-friendly movie starting at 5:30 PM! We’ll have popcorn available to enjoy during the movie, plus childminding, so parents and caregivers can relax and enjoy the evening too. It’s the perfect way to kick off a fun, easygoing night at the Market!

Neighbourhood Nights are all about bringing our community together — and we can’t wait to see you there!

Join us for a high-energy evening of music, dancing, costumes, and Halloween fun, with DJ Karl from Kiddo Club bringing the beats and keeping the dance floor moving.

Come dressed in your favourite Halloween costume and get ready for a party the whole family can enjoy. Expect kid-friendly tunes, plenty of dancing, and lots of spooky fun!

Parents & Guardians: You’re Part of the Party!
This is NOT a drop-off event! There will be no sneaking out the door once your kid is distracted by the dance floor. Art @ the Market Spotlight: Matt Boismier

We’re excited to welcome local artist Matt Boismier to Gibsons Public Market this fall! A creative based right here in Gibsons, Matt brings together his love of illustration, watercolour, sketching, and animation-inspired visual storytelling.
Matt has been contributing to the Vancouver animation industry since 2012, specializing in Visual Development and Art Direction. When he’s not working in animation, you’ll find him sketching local characters and scenes or painting urban watercolours wherever inspiration strikes. He is also the creator and host of the Sunshine Coast Drink + Doodle series.

On Display: September 3 – November 2, 2026

Meet the Artist: Matt will be on site during Art Crawl, October 23–25, giving you a chance to meet the artist and explore his work in person.
