To be nominated by your faithful customers & your community is already a reward that even if you don’t “win” the prize you already feel acknowledged, respected & seen for all your hard work.

Are we perfect & get everything exact 100% of the time? Nooo, and that is because we are a restaurant and bakery that make 98% from scratch & with pride sometimes things don’t go as planned, c’est la vie!

These two recognitions are a reflection of the pride, dedication and commitment of Rosie’s team of employees. Honestly I have rarely experienced such connection in a workplace, well once back in the day.

“You go to work because you are appreciated and valued because you know you make a difference and add to the team”

Congratulations Rosie’s team on your recognition! Cheers to the years ahead!

September 11, 2001.

Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and everyone whose lives were changed by the events of that day.

We also remember the nearly 7,000 passengers who arrived in Gander after 38 planes were diverted to Newfoundland, and the people across Gander and surrounding communities who welcomed them while they waited to return home.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to remember those who were lost, those who were there, and the kindness shared in our community during those days.

We remember. 💙
