Great books & great songs always come to an end….. and we are left with bittersweet memories.
As of May 31st I am retiring and the Café has been sold.

As I clean out my office etc, I am reminded again and again of the people I’ve met, the events we’ve been part of, and the great community we call home.
So how do I even begin to say thank you to so many fabulous people I have had the pleasure of getting to know and who have supported us as we went about our business and “daily grind”?

I am so grateful for ALL our “café experiences”… in-depth conversations, music, tears, laughter, hugs, great books, wine, and lots and lots of coffee! Many new friendships, started here, will carry on.

When I started this adventure 10 years ago, I referred to myself as a “crazy lady with a crazy idea!” Little did I know how truly “crazy wonderful” this adventure would be. Of course there were lots and lots of ups and downs, however, my life is so much richer for it all.

With a heart full of gratitude and bittersweet memories, I say a HUGE THANK YOU!
“It’s NEVER been just a CAFÉ….. it WAS an AMAZING EXPERIENCE!”

And now I will listen for the music to “move me” and watch for the new book that “speaks” to me. In the meantime…. I will sit and rest a spell!

We will be OPEN tomorrow at 8 am as usual, and closing at 2 pm. We look forward to seeing you, one more time.
