Canoe season has returned to Emerald Lake. .boathousetradingco is now open, and the water is waiting.

If you’re planning to get out on the lake this season, here are a few things to keep in mind:

• Rentals are available daily, weather permitting
• Mornings and evenings tend to offer the calmest conditions
• Parks Canada has guidelines in place to help protect the lake, including measures related to aquatic species. These guidelines include no outside watercraft.

A little planning goes a long way in making those on-the-water moments even better.
