📍 FED Urban Farm, 395 Harbour Road (opposite Fantastico Coffee) Parking on site, right near Galloping Goose bike path.
Learn about growing and harvesting vegetables from grow bags and help support local food production!

What: Invasive species pull !
Come and help remove introduced plants that are enjoying life a little too much in Victoria and strangling native plants.
Where: Meet near the swim dock at the end of Styles st.

2.When: Sunday June 14th, 1-4pm
What: Garden tour of the neighbourhood.

We are , RIGHT NOW, busy preparing the seedlings grown for you by the City of Victoria - Local Government to hand over to their new homes today.
Come on down to the Victoria West Community Association at 521 Craigflower road this morning !
We will start handing out over 3000 baby plants, including tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchinis, basil lettuce and beans, at 10:30am.
We wont stop until they are all gone, however it is surprising how fast they go!
We will have some nursery flats available to carry them away.
We are located right at the #14 bus stops @ Pine st on Craigflower. Accessible parking is available however may be limited. We suggest you walk or bike over if you can!

Get Ready Vic West!
TOMORROW!!!!
Friday May 22nd, the Vic West Community Centre will again be receiving over 3000 baby seedlings grown by the Parks staff at the City of Victoria - Local Government
All your favourite garden veggies will be available on a "first come first served" basis.

The line up normally starts about 9:30am at the Centre [521 Craigflower Rd] with distribution starting by 10:30am.

You will be asked to complete a short demographics survey for the City while in the line up. Bring your own carrying receptacle if you can, we will have a limited number of flats available.

Please be patient, be kind, chat with your neighbours or grab a coffee from our friends at Spiral Cafe across the street while our great volunteers get the plants ready for you. We will get you through ASAP!

The fine people from Victoria Compost Education Centre will also be onsite to help with any questions you may have!
