A year ago, Thisnthat Homestead Burch Acres and Rollin' Dough did a little farm stand tour—and of course, I was so busy keeping my own stand stocked that I never made it to theirs!

Yesterday, I finally got to stop at This & That Homestead, and seeing their little setup in person absolutely made my day. I’ve purchased their products (you have to try her focaccia) at the Alberta Beach Farmers' Market , but there’s something special about seeing the heart and hard work behind a local farm stand.

Today is a pickling day for me at home, but because my chickens ate the majority of my seeds in the spring, I'm on the hunt for produce that I can pickle today. Just west of Evansburg on the old Highway 16A is Heavensburg Farm stand.

If you're doing a little tour, be sure to stop and visit them!!!
