❤️ A Personal Message From Sandra ❤️

This is a post I never imagined I would be writing, and certainly not an easy one.

After a great deal of thought, I have made the difficult decision to resign from Blue Cherry Kitchen and Cornerstone Foods Group and step away from the businesses that have been such a huge part of my life for so many years.

Building Blue Cherry, serving this community, and getting to know so many of you has been an incredible chapter of my life. Whether you ordered a pizza, trusted me to cater your wedding, ordered a meal for your family or stopped in for lunch at EHS — thank you.

I truly cannot put into words how much your support has meant to me. I have had the privilege of being part of birthdays, weddings, celebrations, community events and everyday family dinners. I have met wonderful people, made friendships, learned more than I ever expected, and created memories that I will carry with me long after I leave the kitchen.

This decision was not made lightly. Blue Cherry has been a labour of love, but at this point in my life, I need to focus my time and energy on my children, my family and building the next chapter of my career.

I have transferred my interest in Blue Cherry Kitchen and Cornerstone Foods Group to Rick Ellsmere, who will be taking over the businesses moving forward.

Blue Cherry will be temporarily closed while the transition of ownership takes place. Please stay tuned to this page for updates directly from Rick regarding reopening and what comes next for Blue Cherry.

To every customer, employee, friend, family member, organization and community member who supported me along the way — thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

It has been an absolute privilege to cook for you, celebrate with you and serve this community.

This isn't goodbye to all of you — it's simply time for me to hang up my Blue Cherry apron and see where the next chapter takes me.

⚡ Weekend Update – Blue Cherry Pizza Co. 🍕

Unfortunately, we’re currently dealing with an oven issue that may affect our ability to open this weekend.

At this point, we’re not sure how quickly it will be resolved, so Thursday, Friday and Saturday service may be affected.

We’ll keep everyone updated and post as soon as we know when we can safely get the ovens fired up again. 🍕💙

Thanks for your patience and understanding — we’ll be back making pizza very soon!

We will still be at the Riverside Farmers Market Saturday from 8 to 12. Come see us before enjoying the New Liskeard Ram Rodeo.
