Thanks everyone so much for those that ordered from our pop up fundraiser at tots today! It was a great success thanks to all of you, the support from the family’s and staff at tots, and my family that’s always there to help volunteer for stuff like this. We will definitely have more to come with possibly another one in October and maybe a New Year’s Eve box so stay tuned. If you have favourites you’d like to see come back next time a message or comment of what you’d like to see come back really helps me decided. Thanks again everyone your support always leaves me speechless

Hey folks!

So the first fundraiser pop up is a go for Friday August 15th! How it’ll work is you’ll send me an email at [email protected] with a few things:
1)the name for the order
2)the order
3)the time you would like to pick it up (between 530-8 I’ll go later if the interest is there 🙂)
4)any allergies or special requests

I’ll send you an email back confirming the order and giving you the payment details (no tax so prices are exact) This will be done in batches probably around 4pm each day and I’ll respond in the order the emails come in. Just so if you don’t hear from me right away please don’t panic I will definitely get back to you just trying to efficiently manage my time haha.

The menu is super small this time around as I see how this will all go, but the hope is to change stuff up a bunch as I do more of these. Feel free to let me know what rolls you’d like to see me do next time but bare in mind we are not set up with a deep fryer in the daycare haha 🙂

Hey friends,

I hope 2025 has been treating you well so far! I wanted to share a little life update and some exciting news with you. Over the past few months, I’ve had the pleasure of working with Tots Early Learning Society , cooking for the kiddos in our community. It’s been such a rewarding experience so far and it’s been a really great place to work. Ashley is loving her job and is doing a beyond incredible job helping support so many incredible people where she can.

One thing that comes up often at tots is fundraising and when Ashley and I first opened the restaurant, we always strived to be community-focused and to give back whenever possible. This was an important principle to us and I'd love to continue doing so however I can.

This being said, here is the proposal: if the interest is there, I’d love to start running pop-up sushi events out of the Tots Academy kitchen. The food would be the same great tasting, sustainably sourced meals, but with a little twist. All profits would go directly to Tots Academy, supporting projects such as building a new playground at the Lantz location!

This is an opportunity to support a great cause that directly benefits many members of the community. The details are still being thought out, but for now, please let me know if this is something you'd be interested in. 😁 maybe we could try for the first one next month if people have a day in mind let me know.

Hey there 👋

After taking some time to rest and wind down from the busy holiday season, we wanted to pop on and share some words with you all.

We made the difficult call back in November to permanently close the business at the end of 2024. This decision was mainly the result of changing life circumstances and priorities. Our last day of operation was December 31st and we went out with a bang thanks to our awesome customers and all of the orders we received.

We can't find the words to say how appreciative we are for this journey and all of the amazing customers and suppliers we've met along the way. It has been a privilege to be a part of such a welcoming and truly incredible community. We will cherish the connections we've made with all of you for a lifetime.

As we're starting to sort through things, we're realizing we have a lot of plates, bowls, small kitchen gadgets, etc. to part with. We are thinking of having a "closing sale" in the coming weeks to clear out some items at a great price. We're unsure of a date yet but once we figure it out, we'll be sure to let you all know! A little bird told me that there may also be some pre-made variety sushi boxes available to purchase (still have rice, rice vinegar, etc to use up) so stay tuned for that! 👀

We are going to be keeping this page up and running for now. We've talked to quite a few of you over the past month who have expressed your hope that we can do pop ups or something similar in the future. We love the idea of being able to do something every now and then when we're able to, possibly rent kitchen space for a special holiday pop up. It would depend on our ability/availability to do so, but we would like to explore the idea for sure!

Once again, thank you all so much for your ongoing kindness and support. You've made the past 4 years so special and memorable for us. We are forever grateful ♥️

We are full for orders today (Monday Dec 30)

Just an update regarding tomorrow (NYE). We are fully booked with orders between 11am-8pm, but we do still have some space from 8pm-onward. Send us a message to grab a spot! We will not be accepting anymore orders after 6pm tonight (or earlier if we book up before then). We have some special trays available as well as our full menu (which can be found at the top of our page in the "Featured" section).

Tomorrow will be our last day in operation. We are so grateful for our customers and the support you've all shown us over the years. Thank you for helping us end the year and this journey with an incredibly busy and memorable day.

Hey there!

Just an update regarding pick up days. Reminder that we ask that all orders be placed at least one day in advance of pick up. Orders can be placed via messenger or email ([email protected]). No phone calls please!

We are accepting orders on the 28th, 29th, and 30th from 11AM to 7PM, and on the 31st from 11AM until later in the evening. This will be our final days open before we close our doors. We can't wait to see you all and roll you up some sushi one last time!

**NEW YEARS EVE**
We have 2 trays available - a 60pc and a 25pc (see photos for description). We already have quite a few orders and are fully booked up between 4:30pm-7pm. We are still accepting orders between 11am-4:30pm, or any time after 7pm. Spots are limited and they are first come, first serve! We will try our best to accommodate any requests.

We will also have a Chicken Teriyaki roll available to order on NYE. 5pc for $6.50

Just a heads up that we will not be open/accepting orders today.

Below is our final schedule before we wrap things up. We can't thank you all enough for the love, kindness and support you've shown us. Words really can't describe how grateful we are and how much we will miss all of our customers. ♥️

Orders for Xmas eve/NYE have been coming in, we anticipate selling out for those days so we highly suggest getting your orders in ASAP! Reminder that we kindly ask that orders be placed at least one day in advance of the day you'd like to pick up, by FB/IG messenger or email ([email protected]).

There will be a special platter for NYE this year. Liam is ironing out the plans for that and should have it all figured out by the end of the day tomorrow, so we will post about that then. 🙂

Hey folks! Just an update on the closing front. Our last day is going to be the 31st of December (New Years Eve). We will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. We still have some product we would love to move before we finish up, so to make it as easy as we can, I'm going to take orders for every day except for the 25th and 26th. If you're looking to place an order, just a reminder to message us on Facebook or Instagram the day before you'd like to pick up (especially if you're looking for it on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday). We no longer use the phone to take orders. If I have time, I'll do my best to fit in orders the day of. Thanks so much again for all your support and orders, we really do appreciate it! Still plenty of space for preorders this week Thursday-Sunday between 11-7!

We kindly ask that orders be placed at least 1 day in advance of the day you'd like to pick up (ex: if you want to pick up on Thursday, please have your order in by the end of the day on Wednesday). Since Liam is working by himself now, this is the most efficient way to make things manageable for him 🙂. That being said - if you didn't place a preorder and message the day of looking to order something, we will try our best to accommodate if we have the space!

To place an order: please send us a message on Facebook/Instagram or email us at [email protected]. Please note that we no longer accept orders by phone call (the phone is no longer in use). This way makes it much easier for us to handle things solo as taking phone calls can take up a lot of time/makes it difficult switching from task to task.
